What is Negative Air Pressure | Bozeman Mold Remediation

A very traditional method used while performing mold cleanup is using Negative Air Pressure. This is achieved by setting up, in essence, a HEPA filtered air mover that pulls air out of the space. There are a lot of extra requirements that go into how much air needs to move, etc. but for the most part, its just moving air out of the space.

The principle behind this is to remove released mold spores from the space as the mold is being treated.

Not all remediation processes require this step. For example, fogging treatments are designed to treat the air as well as surfaces. In this example, the area is actually sealed up and an air scrubber is run in order to remove treated allergens from the air while being cleaned.
